About the role

Role Purpose: Your purpose is to ensure the execution of the RS PRO strategy and refine, build, and improve upon the category management and product strategy, including Quality and business development plans to strengthen and secure growth.

As a key leader on the RS PRO senior leadership team, there is an expectation to challenge, support, and innovate with your peer group, collaborating with your peers to optimise our collective potential.

You will have targeted KPIs in Revenue, growth, and share of sales whilst achieving overall RS PRO strategy success across multiple metrics aligned to the overall RS PRO strategy and 5-year plan.

You will own and refine RS PRO global processes, and cadence for RS PRO Product, Business Development, Quality, Compliance, Sustainability and Ethics.

Responsibilities

1. Responsible for 3 key areas: Product, Quality, and Business Development.
2. Lead product management globally, ensuring products are returning strong ROI and the range of over 80k products is optimised.
3. Develop effective strategies for business development, ensuring scalability.
4. Support Quality, Ethics, sustainability, and compliance with a dedicated team.
5. Build trust and collaborate across regions, communicating closely with Managing Directors across the EMEA region.
6. Analyse data to understand growth and challenges, creating strategies to optimise growth.

Candidate Requirements

Essential Skills & Experience:

1. A minimum of two of the following background areas: Product, Category Management, Sourcing.
2. Strong experience in two of the following: Finance/P&L management, Brand Management, Quality, Economics, Data analysis, Compliance, Ethics, Consultancy.
3. Experience in writing strategies and execution.
4. Strong operational skills.
5. Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
6. Currently operating at Director or Senior level.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

1. Continuous improvement or consultancy background.
2. Multilingual is an advantage.
3. Experience in Brand management or business development.
