An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the nursing management team on Ward 32 at MRI. The successful candidate will be joining a well-established team, who provide excellent nursing care to medical patients within a medicine for older persons setting. We have a firm commitment to the education and training of others and promoting quality and excellence to our patients.
For this Band 6 post, we are keen to appoint an experienced nurse looking to take that next step into ward management or an existing Band 6 who would like to gain experience in medicine for older people.
Main duties of the jobAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, ambitious individual to join our team as a Ward Sister on Ward 32 MRI which is an acute ward specialising in care of the older person. The ward cares for patients with complex health needs and as such this role would suit someone who is passionate about the care of our elderly patients and wanting to develop their clinical, managerial and leadership skills.
You will be encouraged to develop your own style of leadership and help the ward develop a first-class care environment. We are looking for an efficient, enthusiastic, highly motivated Nurse with good interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively on the ward. You will ensure the smooth running of the ward as to admission, transfer, and discharge of patients and must be committed to providing a high standard of Nursing care and have the drive to want to make a difference to patient care.
