Waste Collection LGV2 Driver

Thrive Group are recruiting for Class 2 Refuse Drivers on behalf of our client based in Gloucester. This role will be on an ongoing temporary basis with the opportunity for temp to perm.

Pay: £16.58 per hour

37 hours paid per week

Hours: Monday to Friday 06:45 - 15:00

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

To drive the waste and recycling vehicles in a safe manner, following a-planned route (this will involve lots of careful driving and reversing)
Undertake daily checks of the vehicle
Assist with vehicle loading as and when required
Ensuring the vehicle remains compliant with transport legislation

Skills & Qualifications:

LGV licence (Class 2 licence)
Full clean driving licence
Minimum 1 year experience
Knowledge of transport operations
Prepared to work outdoors in all conditions
Flexible to working hours
Be fit and able to lift heavy objects
