Job Title: Water Treatment Engineer

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm

Duties:

1. Perform routine maintenance and inspections of water treatment systems.
2. Manage water treatment processes including chemical dosing and water quality testing.
3. Troubleshoot issues and maintain accurate records.
4. Collaborate with facilities management team members.
5. Log Book Ownership.
6. Chilled Water systems.
7. Cooling tower maintenance.
8. Closed system experience.
9. Water flushing.
10. Disinfecting mains water pipes and hot & cold water systems when the need arises.
11. Working with chemicals such as chemical dosing.
12. Surveys on hot and cold water systems.
13. Basic Plumbing.
14. Repairing pipework and leaks.
15. Small plumbing jobs such as dead leg removal.
16. Carry out general building maintenance.
17. Knowledge of the following: Calorifiers, Cooling Towers - Disinfection, Circulation pumps, Temp tests, Tank Cleans, Chlorinations, Water softeners, Cold water storage tanks, Dip Slides.

Person Specification:

1. Must have cooling tower water treatment analysis experience.
2. Must hold full UK driver's license.
3. HTM-04 would be advantageous.
