Job Title: Wedding & Event Sales Executive

Location: Ashridge House, Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, HP4 1NS

Reports to: Wedding Sales Manager

Working hours: Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:30, evenings and weekends as required for show rounds and showcases

The Opportunity

As our Wedding & Event Sales Executive, you will play a key role in delivering a 5-star sales journey-from the first enquiry to the moment the contract is signed. You'll be responsible for converting leads into bookings, conducting bespoke show rounds, and ensuring each couple or client experiences exceptional service that reflects the Ashridge House brand.

This is a target-driven role, requiring a "nothing is impossible" mindset and the ability to balance strong commercial acumen with outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct tailored, high-end show rounds for prospective wedding couples and event clients.
  2. Achieve and exceed sales targets while ensuring a seamless, high-quality client journey.
  3. Negotiate contracts and pricing to maximise revenue.
  4. Respond to enquiries proactively and professionally via email and phone.
  5. Provide detailed, accurate quotes and contractual terms.
  6. Stay up to date with market trends and competitor activity, feeding insights back to the team.
  7. Maintain strong relationships with booked clients, working alongside the events and hospitality teams to ensure a flawless experience.
  8. Identify new sales opportunities and support business development initiatives.
  9. Manage and update third-party listings and directories, ensuring alignment with our luxury brand.
  10. Attend trade fairs, exhibitions, and networking events to promote Ashridge House.
What We're Looking For

  4. Proactive & detail-oriented: You anticipate client needs and ensure every detail is perfect.
  5. Negotiation skills: You confidently convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
  6. Passion for weddings & events: You love being part of a couple's journey and making their vision a reality.
  7. Experience: 1-2 years event sales experience in a similar venue.
