In Print We Trust seeks an energetic, passionate, resourceful Product Designer with a keen eye for emerging trends to join our team. This role is essential as we expand our product range.
As the Product Designer, you will be granted all the resources you need to make your visions a reality. This is your chance to break out and establish a reputation as an up-and-coming fashion designer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Concept Creation & Mood Boards: Develop and present trend-focused product concepts that align with our brand aesthetic and speak to our target market.
- Design & Fabric Selection: Choose fabrics, trims, and colour palettes with careful consideration of function, cost, and sustainability.
- Sketching & Technical Direction: Create design sketches and collaborate with technical designers or pattern makers to ensure accurate samples and tech packs.
- Market Research: Investigate emerging trends and connect with our consumer base to inform new product ideas.
- Sample Coordination: Work closely with factories and sample makers, providing clear direction on design intent, fit, and finishing details.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all labelling, prints, and product details meet our quality standards and reflect the In Print We Trust brand identity.
- Innovation & Collaboration: Continuously propose new ideas to keep the brand on-trend and unique.
Requirements:
- A genuine interest in our brand and a passion for the fashion industry.
- Strong understanding of market trends, street style, and consumer preferences.
- Ability to communicate cross-functionally and clearly articulate design ideas.
- An adaptable, can-do work ethic.
- Able to thrive under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- An enthusiastic collaborator who's eager to share ideas, iterate quickly, and grow with the team.
Nice to Have:
- London-based.
- Familiarity with creating or collaborating on tech packs.
- Some exposure to sourcing and working with suppliers or factories.
