Wordings Specialist - 28527

To act as technical specialist for the group Wordings team and the wider business in respect of insurance contracting and wordings issues.

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

1. Assist in the development of the wordings strategy in conjunction with the group Wordings team and underwriting teams, including property, casualty, financial/professional liability, marine/energy, contingency, and personal accident lines of business.
2. Design and maintain information management tools in support of the wordings strategy as required.
3. Coach, mentor, and provide regular training sessions on insurance contracting and wordings issues for other Wordings team members and for members of the underwriting, legal, and claims teams as required.
4. Assess internal clients' needs and offer solutions to wordings, policies, binding authorities, and other documentation support.
5. Advise underwriters and claims professionals on insurance contracting and wordings issues.
6. Experience working within the London market preferred.
7. Comprehension of the Lloyd's framework, subscription market, Xchanging, etc.
8. Experience of insurance policy legislation.
