What you will need to succeed

•Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant undergraduate degree
•Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2 classrooms
•Strong knowledge of current teaching theories and best practices, particularly in relation to fostering high levels of progress for primary-aged children
•In-depth understanding of the core National Curriculum subjects
•Solid grasp of child development principles and how they inform effective planning
•Familiarity with effective classroom behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
•Awareness of equal opportunity issues and strategies for addressing them in the educational setting
•Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
•Eligibility to work in the UK
•Possession of a current DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through Hays
