About Myself

I am Geitahun Tesfaye, a recent graduate with a B.Sc. in Water Resources and Irrigation Engineering from Bahir Dar University, with a CGPA of 3.42. My academic journey includes an A+ thesis on the design of a weir. I am proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). I have completed a 21-day training with the Hilton Africa Water Quality Testing Fellowship Program, gaining hands-on experience in both lab and field work, focusing on water quality and sustainable water management. My work experience includes an internship in earth dam construction, where I developed strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, and a water quality testing role with Aquaya. I am passionate about improving irrigation systems and contributing to sustainable water resource management.
