Senior Mechanical Engineer machinery & plant engineering (M/F/D)

We are seeking a design engineer to join our team in mechanical and plant engineering. In our dynamic environment, you will have the opportunity to leverage and enhance your skills in modeling and concept creation for process engineering systems.

Your future area of responsibility

• Concept creation, 3D modelling and drawing derivation including parts lists for process engineering systems and machines
• Support and supervision of design drafts and 3D models as part of project work
• Review and approval of drawings and technical calculations
• Preparation of request specifications for purchased components, including inquiries and selection of suppliers in close cooperation with project management and procurement
• Compilation of technical documentation such as assembly instructions and supplier documentation
• Support for technical documentation regarding functional descriptions, as well as the creation of maintenance plans and spare parts lists
• Conducting and supporting risk analyses for CE marking
• Ongoing monitoring of deliveries and services until complete commissioning

What you can inspire us with:

• Completed technical education at a higher level (e.g., HTL, university of applied sciences, or similar)
• Several years of professional experience in design and development within mechanical engineering
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics, as well as CE marking, is advantageous
• Excellent CAD skills, such as in SolidWorks or SolidEdge
• Proficient in MS Office and English
• Solution-orientated and reliable
• Empathetic team player with a precise working style, a sense of responsibility, and a passion for advancing technical developments
