Job Description

Are you the kind of person who can recite the latest white papers like they're your favourite playlist and live and breathe Public Affairs?

Our client is a forward-thinking agency with a team that's passionate about shaping policy and making waves in public affairs. They work with big names and challenger brands alike, guiding them through the labyrinth of Whitehall and Westminster.

We're looking for either an established Account Director or an Associate Director, who can piece together complex policy puzzles while leading and mentoring a talented team. If you have FS experience then this would be a complete win, but we care more about enthusiasm for policy and ability to navigate the political landscape.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead the charge on client accounts, turning policy talk into actionable strategy.
  2. Keep your finger on the pulse of Whitehall, Westminster, and the Labour party scene.
  3. Be the guiding light for junior team members, helping them grow and shine.
  4. Challenge the status quo or even the Head of PA - constructive debate is welcome.
  5. Be detail-oriented; spot the missing comma in a 200-page report.
  6. Engage with the financial services sector with a willingness to learn, lead, and innovate.
Qualifications:
  1. A background in public affairs with a proven track record.
  2. An understanding of UK politics, the Labour party, and government operations.
  3. Leadership skills that inspire and develop those around you.
  4. The ability to translate complex policy issues into clear, compelling narratives.
What You'll Get:
  1. The opportunity to work in a dynamic agency with a great culture.
  2. Real development opportunities to hone your people management skills.
  3. Supportive HR policies that prioritize your well-being.
