About the Role: This is a pivotal role in our early-stage business, combining key operational responsibilities to ensure seamless service delivery and high client satisfaction. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing the fulfilment of temporary staffing needs and supply chain management for your assigned accounts ensuring the clients satisfaction with the services delivered.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Account Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, managing day-to-day communications and ensuring their staffing needs are met.
  • Understand client requirements in-depth and provide personalised service and updates.
  • Address client concerns, issues, or changes in staffing needs promptly and professionally.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, aiming for high client satisfaction and retention.

Rota Operations (Fulfilment):

  • Oversee the fulfilment of client staffing requirements using the Rotagap platform, ensuring efficient shift allocation.
  • Manage the tiered and automated shift assignment process, ensuring that internal staff, bank staff, and agency resources are engaged in that order.
  • Monitor and respond to real-time staffing issues, filling last-minute gaps through supply chain engagement where necessary to ensure no disruptions in client service.
  • Analyse shift data and staffing trends to recommend operational improvements and cost-saving strategies.

Supply Chain Management:

  • Manage the supply chain of staffing resources, ensuring internal staff and external agencies are effectively coordinated to meet client needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external agencies and other staffing partners.
  • Negotiate and manage agreements with staffing suppliers to ensure favourable terms and a strong pipeline of resources to meet client needs

Optimise staffing supply based on cost-efficiency, availability, and client priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3+ years in client account management, operations, or staffing coordination, preferably in a healthcare or staffing agency context.
  • Knowledge of rota/shift management systems: Experience with staffing software, or similar, is a plus.
  • Problem-solving skills: Ability to think quickly on your feet, handling staffing emergencies and last-minute changes with a calm and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills: Able to interact with both internal teams and clients professionally and effectively.
  • Organisational skills: Proven ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Technology proficient: Comfortable with technology and able to learn and utilise new platforms quickly.
