Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Salary: Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Salary: 26k (£12.50 p/h)
Hours: 40hrs pw, Monday to Friday
Based: Kington
The company is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their accounts team, reporting to the Finance Managers. You will be working for a well-known and well-respected Manufacturing and Electrical Installation company servicing the water and waste-water sector, employing around 50 staff.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Sage accounting software (or equivalent)
- AAT Level 2 or equivalent experience
- General accountancy
- Good communication skills including excellent telephone manner
- Confidence in speaking to customers/suppliers
- Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Eque2 construction software
Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Inputting Bills onto our accounting software Eque2 posting to SAGE accounts
- Customer Invoicing
- Directors Expenses
- Directors Mileage Claims
- Assisting with Bank Reconciliation, ensuring all transactions are on the system
- Employee one off Expenses
- Employee Barclaycard - Credit Card Receipts
- Customer Payments - Inputting on Sage
- Creating Contract Numbers, Updating Customer Files & Relevant Excel Sheets
- Answering telephone calls
- Assist with year-end stock control
