PTC is looking for a Solution Architect to join the ALM team. Codebeamer is an agile Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solution for distributed development. It helps users streamline product innovation processes, enhance product quality, reduce development costs, and maintain compliance with safety-critical standards. Codebeamer is a complete lifecycle management solution with all-in-one requirements, risk, and test management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities, in no particular order:

  • Drive and support Implementation Services Attachment: Supporting the assigned BSM on Pre-sales opportunities to support the ARR growth and long-term customer satisfaction through implementation excellence.
  • Advisory Services: Provide technical advisory services and mentorship for PTC partners.
  • Support Field Readiness and Continuous Improvement: Support PTC's Internal segment processes, the Partner Hub and solicit feedback from the field for segment considerations.
  • Best Practice development and Scale: Provide implementation subject matter expertise to Service Offer Management (SOM) to build offerings.
  • Partner Support: Develop documentation to support partners as they implement PTC ALM solutions.
  • Cross functional Collaboration: Provide segment specific subject matter expertise in cross functional initiatives.
  • Community Practice Evangelism: Share segment/industry specific expertise throughout the technical community of practice.
  • Customer Escalation Support: Act as an advisor on escalated accounts.

Day-To-Day:

  • Develop & present technical presentations and customized demonstrations of PTC Codebeamer to customers, prospects & partners.
  • Organize and support technical workshops based on customers' and partners' business needs.
  • As a solution finder, consult on potential solutions and/or alternatives to key customer and partner challenges.
  • Act as technical project manager for customer projects, working with our partners, solution centers & R&D.
  • Analyze customers' processes and PTC solution value to support the use of core product in line with best practice guidance.
  • Create technical documentation, including guides, best practices, and reference materials, to empower customers to make the most of our products in a scalable and efficient way.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, working closely with the customer and our engineering teams to find effective solutions.
  • Contribute to the creation of reference architectures and frameworks that enable customers to scale and optimize their use of our software.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge:

  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills in English is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of the ALM space with associated technologies.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience in programming language (Java, C++, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Experience in one of relational Database technology (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Previous software consulting experience in the role of solution, technical or application architect.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science bachelor's degree / master's degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years professional experience in a similar role.
