Application Architect/Developer, 24 months in Finland (Remote work allowed)

Description:
We are looking for a Senior Application Architect/Developer for a public sector client in Finland. This would be 2 years assignment starting in March. Remote work is possible.

Public sector transportation company is seeking a technical architect to support the transformation of our data platform. We will be implementing new technologies and a more platform-based operating model in 2025. We need a technical architect to help us make the right technology choices and develop our operating model towards the desired platform-based operation.

Note: The following list of required skills is mandatory, including length of experience.

Required skills:

• Experience in working as a developer in an agile development team on at least three data platform projects on at least two different cloud platforms, one of which is Microsoft Azure. Each project lasted at least 2 years.
• Experience working as a developer with Snowflake technology. At least 2 years of experience.
• At least one year of experience building a recommendation engine for digital services in consumer-customer business operations and designing the related system and integration architecture.
• Conducted data modelling using the Data Vault 2.0 methodology.
• Served in a leading role in the implementation of a new data and analytics platform for an organization with at least 1000 employees.
• Conducted overall and domain architecture work for at least 2 years.
• Served as a project manager in a project where a significant part of the work involved defining responsibilities between IT service teams and data product development teams.
• Sufficient proficiency in the Finnish language. The expert must be able to communicate independently in Finnish both orally and in writing and have a command of the language.
