Your new role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Site Manager to join our clients' dynamic team. The successful candidate will support the Site Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Assist the Site Manager with planning and coordinating construction activities.Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and address any issues promptly.Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and project progress.Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily logs, progress reports, and material deliveries.Assist in managing project budgets and schedules, identifying and mitigating potential risks.Support the Site Manager in resolving any on-site challenges and ensuring smooth project executionWhat you'll need to succeed Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry.Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Strong leadership and communication skills.Proficiency in using construction management software and tools.SMSTS, First Aid, CSCS essential A degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field is an advantage.What you'll get in return Competitive salary and benefits package.Company pensionOpportunities for career advancement and professional development.A supportive and collaborative work environment.The chance to work on exciting and innovative projects.What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
