Job Description

Associate Director/Research Director Quantitative B2B Research & Brand Research
London - hybrid, 3 days a week in the office.
£55-70k + excellent benefits
2 Stage interview process.

We're looking for an Associate Director or Research Director to join a Brand Management Consultancy sitting in their market research business.

THE COMPANY:
They're a Brand Management Consultancy bridging the gap between marketing and finance. They provide value-based assessments helping their clients with their brand-related decisions. The Consultancy focuses on three areas: brand research, brand valuation and brand strategy.

Brand research plays an instrumental part in brand valuation and brand strategy but also is a stand-alone business of providing clients with market understanding and insight they need to fulfil their goals.

They have offices in 20 countries with the headquarters in London. The UK team is around 50 people in total and their clients are world-known brands in all different sectors, from FMCG to luxury goods, to major sports events and entertainment.

THE ROLE:
We have hired both their RD and SRD, who this role reports to. In the research team, they have an RM who's more operational and someone who's more stats-based.

On the market research side, the work comes off the back of the relationships they have in the brand valuation space, plus they have some standalone research clients. Clients ask them to run ad hoc research for clients which can be anything from segmentation to pricing to NPD to brand and comms research - they do quite a bit of brand research too, about 30% is brand equity studies.

SKILLS:

  • 5+ years of market research experience.
  • Strong practical quantitative research experience including managing and/or commissioning survey research and presenting insights.
  • Excellent people skills and client-oriented mindset.
  • Strong analytical skills and a good eye for detail.

If the role sounds of interest, please hit apply. Even if you feel you don't tick all of the boxes or are just intrigued enough, please send in an application.
