PER has partnered with a growing European Real Estate investor that is looking to add an Associate to the Portfolio Management team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team and play a key role in supporting the continuous growth of the assets.

About our client
PER has partnered with a growing European Real Estate investor which is looking to add a Portfolio Management Associate to the team. The Portfolio Management Associate will partner with different business areas including asset management, finance, acquisitions, and external stakeholders in developing the analysis and performance of the current portfolio. The business is going through an exciting growth phase as it develops its portfolio across Europe.

What the job involves

  • Working closely with the asset management and portfolio modelling teams to ensure accuracy of the portfolio data for the European assets
  • Review of the asset models and key assumptions
  • Ensuring accuracy and consistent portfolio quarterly asset analytics
  • Maintaining and updating European asset analytics
  • Preparing high quality documentation and presenting to senior management on portfolio and asset performance
  • Supporting management to co-ordinate the European assurance processes and liaising with group external assurance providers to ensure that information is provided on a timely basis
  • Liaise with European fund operations team to update key assumptions including cash, external debt, and line of credit
  • Support management on project work, identifying and implementing reporting efficiencies and supporting technology initiatives

Who we are looking for

  • Chartered Accountant (or equivalent)
  • Financial services experience is desirable
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task across projects and timelines with multiple stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to create and maintain large databases
  • Ability to respond quickly in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in team environments
  • Ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships
  • Real assets knowledge is beneficial
