AWS DevOps Engineer
Location: Luxembourg (Hybrid working allowed)
EU NATIONALS ONLY
Duration: 6-12 months initial, with extensions
ASAP, or 4 weeks- notice considered

This is a Luxembourg based role with an excellent immediate start within a major Europeans Institution working on their largest digital and technological transformation program.

Qualifications:

• Extensive hands-on experience with HashiCorp Terraform for authoring code and modules.
• Proven track record of successful deployments in AWS.
• Expertise in CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitLab CI, including pipeline development.
• Proficiency in GIT for version control.
• Strong Scripting skills in languages such as PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with other HashiCorp Tooling like Vault and Packer.
• Experience developing custom Terraform Providers.
• Previous work in public institutions is advantageous.
• Knowledge of security scanning tools and addressing common security vulnerabilities.
• Understanding of containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with Azure Cloud on top of AWS is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and developing Terraform Modules to support AWS Cloud environment.
• Creating standard images for AWS EC2 Instances.
• Architecting, designing, and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentoring junior engineers in Terraform and Cloud technologies.
• Conducting code reviews of Terraform Code delivered by junior engineers.
