Bank Theatre Scrub Practitioner - Orthopaedics - North Downs Hospital - Bank Hours

The role

You will be required to perform the scrub role in Consultant led surgeries that vary in complexity and specialism and work across a range of specialism.

Where you'll be based

North Downs Hospital is one of Surrey's leading private hospitals with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality healthcare treatments and services. Located within the M25, close to the centre of Caterham, the hospital opened in 1974 and currently has 15 bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities and a daycase suite.

What you'll bring with you

  • NMC/HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics including but not limited to hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligaments would be an advantage
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable, but not essential
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate and empathetic character
