Building Control Team Leader/Manager

We are working with a Client who is looking for a competent, qualified Building Control Surveyor to work at Senior/Team Leader level or above within their busy Building Control Team.
Your new role
The role involves leading a small team of Registered Building Inspectors and being involved in the Building Control function with some site inspection work.
This will include ensuring all building control applications are complete, appropriate fees are correct and information is compliant with building regulations and allied legislation.
Establishing inspection plans, allocating inspections to an appropriate Registered Building Inspector, monitoring performance records and enforcement as appropriate and securing compliance with legislation relevant to building control,
What you'll need to succeed. An effective communicator, you should be a Registered Building Inspector with the minimum Building Safety Regulator at Class 2A, B C, D, E and F and be able to demonstrate knowledge of the construction industry, methods, techniques, and materials. Any m anagerial and decision-making skills and experience of building control in a local government setting is advantageous.
