Mechanical - Building Services Technician required for University Campus in Liverpool

  • Role Overview:With over 300 buildings across the greater Liverpool area, the Building Services Technician will play a crucial role in maintaining a local Liverpool-based building portfolio comprising of Georgian and Victorian periods, contemporary buildings, conservation areas etc.The role holder will be responsible for scheduled service, planned preventative maintenance, and reactive work to mechanical and electrical systems.

    Main Duties:
  • Perform PPM visits and reactive repairs on mechanical plant and equipment.
  • Conduct plant room checks and manage the CAFM system.
  • Carry out HVAC maintenance and demonstrate knowledge of BMS.
  • Utilise post-training experience in a team-oriented, multi-skilled maintenance role (mechanical/electrical).
  • Apply general technical knowledge and fault diagnostic skills on building services, heating, and ventilation systems.
  • Work independently without direct technical supervision, organising tasks and collaborating effectively with the team.
  • Maintain mechanical plant and equipment in a customer-service / oriented organisation.
