Job Title: Business Development Director
A fantastic senior Business Development opportunity has arisen within a well-established printing firm, and a leader in their field.
The primary responsibility of the role is to support new business development with new opportunities. The role will support the Direct Mail division to ensure that growth targets are met. Working closely with the business development teams and clients, this role will focus on identifying and converting new business opportunities, including planning through the bid process, and effectively articulating our clients direct mail proposition and solutions through client facing documentation and presentations, delivered to the highest standard and on brand.
Specific area of responsibility
Strong consultative selling skills with a proven ability of understanding client opportunities & creating solutions
Winning new business in line with the sales and marketing plan
Establish business development pipeline by building on existing network opportunities
To be conversant with the key market trends, changing client requirements and competitor activity
Generate leads that fit the ideal client profile in conjunction with the prospecting process
Building revenue and profits from new clients
Monitor progress of proposals, plans and objectives
Pioneering solutions development in conjunction with other functions of the business
Person Specification
Excellent engagement skills both internally and externally
Experience selling Direct Mail to B2C and B2B clients
Minimum 8 - 10 years Business Development experience
Highly organised and strong attention to detail
Continually exceeds their business targets

Sets and achieves very high levels of performance and continually strives for personal improvement
