Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and grow a portfolio of new clients, leveraging strategic partnerships and personal networking to source opportunities.
  2. Structure and sell financial solutions, including leasing, subscription-based services, and as-a-Service offerings for smart/digital products.
  3. Build relationships with senior leadership, key stakeholders, and solution partners to maximize account opportunities.
  4. Research and qualify potential clients to ensure targeted, effective approaches.
  5. Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and achieve set targets for revenue and margin growth.
  6. Collaborate with internal teams to close deals and ensure exceptional client delivery.
  7. Maximize cross-selling opportunities and identify global solutions for UK-leading companies.
  8. Effectively manage time and sales activity, adhering to key performance indicators (KPIs).

Key Attributes Required:

  1. Proven success in solution-based B2B selling, ideally within asset finance or digital technology solutions.
  2. Strong numerical skills to structure complex transactions and deliver tailored solutions.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work independently, drive new business, and build lasting relationships.
  4. Experience liaising with senior stakeholders and managing complex, solution-driven sales.
  5. Self-motivated, proactive, and organized, with a results-driven mindset.
  6. Excellent communication and proposal preparation skills.

Experience:

  1. Business Development Manager: 5+ years of sales experience, including at least 2 years in asset finance.
  2. Business Development Director: 10+ years of sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years in asset finance.

Location: London, United Kingdom (hybrid working)

Salary: Competitive and negotiable based on experience.
