These positions are full time positions. The hospital has 102 in patient beds and 6 operating Theatres in Cork city. The Heart & Vascular Centre at the hospital provides a comprehensive range of invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular services.

Patient care is managed by a multi-disciplinary team of world-class experts and specialists covering the full spectrum of cardiac conditions.The team of consultants also offer a high degree of sub-specialisation expertise to treat the widest range of heart problems. This ensures patients receive the most comprehensive and up-to-date range of diagnostic and therapeutic options, individually tailored to their specific needs.

Interested candidates must have

Registered general nurse qualification

Full NMBI registration - active registration

Previous recent cardiothoracic critical care or cardiothoracic scrub nurse or cardiology nursing experience essential.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Demonstrable commitment to patient safety and quality

Ability to work in a dynamic and intense environment that requires quick thinking and excellent analytical and assessment skills

Ability to work on their own initiative and to be self-motivated

Eligibility to work in Ireland - Stamp 4/ Irish Citizenship - no sponsorship at this time.
