Role Title: Caseworker (Need Active SC Clearance)
Location: Hybrid - Whitehall (Inner London)
Induction onsite (London) potentially for 10 days, then hybrid. Candidate must be local to London.
Office attendance 1 - 3 days per week onsite, minimum, and as required for Business needs.
Duration: 20 weeks

Role Description:
The Defence Afghan Relocation and Resettlement (DARR) Directorate is a new organisation set up to manage the process for supporting eligible Afghans who supported the UK mission in Afghanistan over the past 20 years to come to the UK, and once here to be assisted to begin their new lives with their families. It is important and rewarding work, supporting one of Defence's highest priorities and reports directly into the Permanent Secretary.

Minimum Requirement:
Experience analysing information from multiple sources, with keen eye for attention to detail.
Delivering at pace - daily targets for cases
Good understanding of English, especially written.
Able to use Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PP, excel etc.)
o Majority of communications are via Outlook.

o Can come across graphic/disturbing material and stories. Need to discuss up front with candidates to ensure they are resilient and ok with this.
Need to be able to stick to policy. To make decisions based on policy, not on emotion.
Ideally need candidates who are in similar roles.
