The CFO will play a pivotal role in leading the finance function of our client's operations. This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative and entrepreneurial senior management team, contributing to the company's continued success.
Your Role
- Manage the accumulation and consolidation of financial data to produce accurate and timely business management reports.
- Prepare and distribute internal financial statements to inform decision-making processes.
- Conduct comprehensive financial statement analysis, comparing forecasts with actual performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and execute financial strategy, including tax planning to minimise liabilities and maximise efficiency.
- Review and optimise current accounting and financial processes and tools to enhance synergies across the organisation.
- Prepare business forecasts to guide strategic planning and resource allocation.
- Establish and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate activities with external auditors to facilitate efficient and accurate audits.
- Ensure compliance with income tax regulations and liaise with external tax teams as necessary.
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities, including presenting financial information to the board and providing strategic guidance.
Your Skills
- Qualified accountant with a minimum of 10 years PQE.
- Proven experience in a senior finance role.
- Strong financial acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial strategy development and execution, including tax planning and optimisation.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Experience in leading and motivating teams, with a collaborative and inclusive leadership style.
- High level of integrity and ethical conduct, with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of financial governance.
- Willingness to travel as required to fulfil the responsibilities of the role.
