We are currently looking for a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) (m/f/d) in Germany (Berlin based, or remote).

Join our senior leadership team and partner with our CEO to drive the financial strategy and long-term growth of Trapeze DACH. Together with your team in Neuhausen (Switzerland) and Berlin (Germany), you will be responsible for all commercial aspects of the business and striving for financial excellence.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the quarterly strategic review (QSR) process to deliver accurate forecasts, coordinating business reviews, planning, and outlook cycles with the Portfolio Finance team to achieve quarterly and annual targets.
  • Manage working capital and drive initiatives to improve Return on Invested Capital (ROIC) and overall growth performance.
  • Ensure financial performance by identifying risks and variances, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with IFRS and local tax regulations.
  • Monitor and enforce KPIs, using driver-based analytics to explain key variances in revenue, gross margin, and expenses.
  • Support strategic direction by assisting in shaping the company's future and developing performance measures aligned with tactical initiatives.
  • Provide commercial expertise to Product Management, R&D, Supply Chain, and Sales, influencing product strategy and revenue growth drivers.
  • Implement best practices to modernize finance operations and processes.
  • Lead and inspire a team of eight in Controlling and Accounting.

Your Profile:

  • Master's degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
  • 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in senior management, preferably in a software company.
  • Expertise in IFRS and local tax regulations.
  • Proven leadership skills with strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Business acumen and entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrated in intercultural and cross-functional settings.
  • Solution-oriented with a constructive approach to challenges.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • M&A experience is a plus.
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written).
  • Willingness to travel within the DACH region (30%).
