The Chief Operations Officer role performs a wide range of tasks from administrative duties to more specialized projects that require critically and creatively thinking about how best to achieve the organization's goals. The role develops and introduces strategies to optimize company processes and improve efficiency, identify the industry trends and needs, and recognize the opportunities for the company's development.
- Develop and implement operational strategies that support the company's goals.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure process operations are consistently and effectively performed according to established guidelines.
- Analyze data and make decisions based on the findings to improve business processes.
- Provide analysis with recommended actions through analytical solutions.
- Proactive approach in negotiations with key customers and suppliers.
- Prepare bids for new projects.
- Review financial statements to identify areas of risk and opportunities for profit improvement.
- Coordinate with other departments and work closely with team leaders to manage projects, ensuring accurate reporting and efficiency improvement.
- Collaborate with the CEO and other senior executives to set and achieve the strategic business targets.
- Contribute to a positive image of the company and the brand.
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or another closely related discipline.
- Advanced MS Office skills.
- Proficiency in English (German language skills are an advantage).
- Presentation and communication skills.
