About our client

Our client is a growing asset management firm with a strong track record and a global investment remit. This is an exciting opportunity to join and lead their team, with the flexibility to be based in one of theiroffice locations in Bahrain, London, New York, Zurich or Hong Kong. The role will focus on fundof fund investinginto VC and growth globally.What the job involves

• Conducting due diligence on Venture Capital and Growth Equity funds and developinga strategy for manager selection
• Generating deal flow and investment ideas by considering relevant macro and industry trends in accordance with the investment mandate
• Working across the life cycle of investments, including screening and analysis, presenting at investment committee meetings andmonitoring investments
• Growing and mentoring a wider team
• Preparing, presenting, and defending internal investment recommendations

Who we are looking for

• A proven track record in venture capital and/or growth equity fund selectionis essential.
• An in-depth expertise of private asset classes with a strong network ofrelationships at a high level in VC/growth markets.
• Background from a fund,alternative asset manager, specialised fund of fund boutique or fund advisory. Investment banking and broader advisory backgrounds will also be considered if experience is relevant.
• Ability to underwrite in-depth business plans for fundinvestments across various sectors and geographies
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills
• Degree from a top-tier institution in a relevant field
