Job Description
Civil Site Engineer - Blackburn - £45,000 - £55,000

Your new company :
You will be joining a Civil and Groundworks contractor working on a range of exciting schemes, based around the UK. This organisation has a strong pipeline of work and offers excellent opportunities for career progression and professional development.
Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Civil Site Engineer, ideally with experience in rivers and water, to join their team. As an Engineer, you will be responsible for, but not limited to, offering technical advice to subcontractors and operatives, managing and interpreting contract documents, ensuring plans and drawings are accurate, overseeing the selection and requisition of materials as well as setting out, levelling and surveying sites. You will be expected to commute and lodge at sites further afield, but this will be covered by the business.
What you'll need to succeed :

In order to be successful, you will hold a degree/HND/HNC in Civil Engineering (or experience equivalent) and ideally have at least 3+years' experience in setting out, levelling and surveying.
In addition, you will hold a CSCS card, a full UK driving licence and have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Finally, you will have excellent attention to detail and be able to communicate effectively with a range of other professionals, including clients, construction managers and other engineers.
