£39,500 Earnings Package

Due to the expansion of the fleet and driving workforce we are currently recruiting HGV Class 1 night trunk Drivers to join our team here at Mercado Leeds.
Perhaps you have recently passed an LGV 1 Licence and looking for your first driving job, with a company that will take the time to train and develop you into a professional career driver

HGV Class 1 Requirements
Right to work in the UK
An up-to-date CPC and DIGITAL TACHOGRAPH card
No More than 3 Penalty points on driving licence
Good knowledge of driver's hours and WTD regulations
Job Role includes
General driving duties: observing current legal and best practise delivering to/from our Regional and National Distribution Centres
A disciplined approach that will allow you to work unsupervised
Driving your vehicle in a courteous manner, adhering to all Traffic Laws as per the National Highway code
Making sure all goods are correctly strapped & secured before commencing journeys
Use of electronic P.O.D and up-to-date technology (full training will be given to ensure best practise)
Daily vehicle checks as per ministry standards
