Clerical Officer, Temporary, Belfast City Centre, £12.43 per hour

Hays are partnering with a reputable public service organisation to recruit for 2x Clerical Officers to assist with the administration/production of all products in an accurate and efficient manner whilst providing a high level of customer service. These our temporary positions until November 2024.
Your new role

Address queries about various products and assist with replacements for lost, stolen, or faulty products

Maintain and update customer information, ensuring accuracy and consistency.

Safeguard sensitive customer information in compliance with data protection regulations.

Manage and update product statuses, including hot listing lost cards and clearing redundant ones.

Calculate and process quotations for new and renewal product applications.

Manage ticketing income, process payments, and ensure secure storage of customer banking details.

Reconcile financial records and assist with refunds in line with company policies.

Resolve escalated and duplicate applications to prevent fraudulent activities.

Perform general clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing.

What you'll need to succeed

Minimum of 1 years' experience of working on databases

Experience of working in a customer service environment

Minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above, or equivalent, including English and Maths

Experience of working with Microsoft Word and Excel
