Job Description
We're looking for a Cloud Architect to join us in our Business Centre based in Bradford.

This is a Hybrid role working from the Bradford site 2 days week.

An exciting opportunity has opened for a Cloud Architect based at our Bradford office. We are seeking a Cloud Architect who will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering cloud infrastructure across our group of bsuinesses including Virgin Media.

What will you be doing?
Designing, documenting and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions.
Implementing best practices for cloud security, monitoring, and cost management.
Collaborating with development team to deploy applications for the cloud environment.
Staying updated on cloud trends, emerging technologies, and best practices.

We tend to look for people with:

Minimum Requirements
Significant experience in cloud architecture with demonstratable hands-on experience.
Extensive experience with cloud platforms (preferably Google Cloud first, AWS as a bonus).
Proficiency in creating documentation and required artifacts for security and privacy
Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Strong understanding of cloud security, networking, and cost management.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Core Competency Requirements
Experience with cloud applications and service architecture and design.
Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker).
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to document infrastructure designs, configurations, and procedures in a clear, concise, and easy-to-understand manner.
