We're looking forCommissioning Engineers to joinour Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networksteam
Location: Exeter or can bebased from one of our other offices in the Bristol/ Tauntonregion
Hours: 45 hours per week -some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us knowwhen you speak to us
Kier and it's partnership with South West Water and WessexWater are passionate about providing clean and waste water servicesacross the South West. Our delivery team are a key part of thispartnership, and our commissioning engineers provide support fromthe concept stage, right through to ensuring a functional and fullyoptimised asset to our partners.
What will you be responsiblefor?
As a Commissioning Engineer, you'll beresponsible for writing PLC & HMI software and undertakingSCADA page configurations for allocatedprojects.
Your day to day willinclude:
- DevelopFunctional Design Specification & ControlPhilosophies
- Contributing to trainingmaterials in accordance with the Client and Kierstandards
- Completing multipleconcurrent projects
- Undertaking factory & site testing providingcommission assistance and clienttraining
What are we lookingfor?
This role of Commissioning Engineer isgreat for you if you hold:
- Experience of programming a variety of PLC platformsutilising IEC 61131-3 programme languages and programming HMI's andconfiguring SCADA pages Hold an industry applicable ONC/HNC/BEng or NVQequivalent
- Sound commercial andcontractual awareness, as well as inclusion on clients approvedsoftware lists where applicable Full drivinglicence
