Employee (f/m/d) in information and communication technology asComputer scientist (f/m/d) for SAP application support up to pay group 11 TV-L
to be filled at the earliest possible date on a full-time basis (39.2 hours per week).

The team / unit Central IT Applications in Administration (Unit 50) is part of the Department / Division for IT and Central Services. This is where all the threads of the central administration IT (servers and network infrastructure for large IT processes such as campus management, SAP, telephony, IT consulting and service) as well as the central services media technology, management of course rooms, mailroom and telephone switchboard come together.
Organizationally, the university is currently merging several central IT units to ensure effective, service-oriented work in research, studies, teaching and administration that is geared towards the needs of users.
The team works with a high level of service orientation and is the point of contact and advisor for university administration staff. It implements IT development projects and identifies with the requirements of digital change.

The area of responsibility includes the:- Application support with message acceptance, recording and solution of all problems related to SAP operation (SAP hotline) of the Bremen universities
- Collaboration in the introduction and adaptation of IT-supported administration systems for business applications
- Designing the system settings (customizing)
- Quality assurance of these application systems and their interfaces
- Documentation and maintenance of these procedures
- Training in SAP modules (in particular basics, MM, PSM)
- Completed (technical) university degree (Bachelor/FH diploma) in computer science with relevant reference to the above-mentioned tasks,
- or training as an IT specialist (f/m/d) specializing in application development
- or comparable qualifications and knowledge, preferably proven by many years (at least 3 years) of professional experience
- Very good comprehensive knowledge of SAP (or comparable accounting system) with several years of practical experience in the application in the areas of MM, PSM, CO, FI, FIAA
- Sound knowledge of IT-supported administration systems
- Experience in advising users of the ERP system
- Experience in cooperation with external service providers
- English language skills CEF Level B1
- German language skills CEF Level C1
