Consultant Dermatologist

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Consultant Dermatologist for a hospital in the South-East of England.

Responsibilities:

• Clinical Expertise:
• Develop enhanced clinical skills, especially in the assessment and management of acutely ill patients.
• Provide expert dermatological consultations, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Follow patients throughout their clinical pathways.
• Collaboration and Teamwork:
• Demonstrate excellent team-working skills, collaborating effectively with other healthcare professionals.
• Work well in a multi-professional team environment.
• Contribute to achieving clinical and quality targets set nationally and locally.
• Special Interests:
• There will be opportunities to expand and progress specific interests relevant to the department.
• Contribute to the development of specialized clinics or services.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• GMC Registration: You must be registered with the General Medical Council as a Consultant Dermatologist.
• Clinical Experience: Significant experience in dermatology practice, including managing complex cases.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
• Commitment: A strong commitment to patient care, continuous professional development, and service improvement.
