Your new role as a Control Panel Workshop Manager will involve overseeing the production and assembly of switchgear and control panels. You will manage day-to-day operations, assign tasks, and ensure workflow efficiency. Working closely with the design team, you will ensure compliance with project specifications and provide leadership to the workshop team, maintaining high safety standards. Your responsibilities will also include the assembly of electrical switchgear and associated electromechanical equipment/systems according to engineering drawings and production timescales, as well as overseeing the testing of switchgear, control panels, and busbar systems, troubleshooting any issues that arise.
What you'll need to succeed is experience in a similar role, particularly in the field of switchgear or electrical equipment. A strong work ethic and keen attention to detail are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines.
