Credit Risk Underwriter

InterQuest are proud to be supporting a thriving International Bank who are looking for a Credit Risk Underwriter to join their Commercial and Real Estate Credit Sanctioning team. This is your chance to own the Underwriting responsibilities of the bank whilst utilising initiative to improve and streamline processes.

The Role:

• Working on a case-by-case basis, reviewing loan proposals, assessing their adherence and merit against the Bank's policies, and assessing risks.
• Completing horizon scanning to assess markets trends and initiative process improvement.
• Present Underwriting cases to Senior Management in committees.
• Strong experience of underwriting with a background in Real Estate Finance
• Working knowledge of the London and South-East property market
• Experience of presenting to senior management
