Criminal Clerk

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions is hiring on behalf of their client for a Criminal Clerk to join our client clerking team. You would be joining a solicitor's firm in Plymouth, Devon. You may be a legal graduate or someone with experience working in a firm and keen on a new challenge.

The hours are 09:00hrs - 17:30hrs Monday - Friday. The annual salary is Circa £26,000 PA.

The ideal candidate will have the drive, energy and motivation to make a real difference to us/ our busy criminal clerking team. We are looking for a team player who is not afraid to take responsibility for decisions. You will be an adept multi-tasker; running the diary, negotiating fees, marketing and client care will be paramount. You'll need to be able to demonstrate strong written and spoken communication skills, high attention to detail, organisational skills, the ability to provide excellent client care and a friendly, approachable and flexible manner in working together with colleagues and members. An interest in developing a long-term career as a barristers' clerk is also essential.

Experience as a barristers' clerk is not essential though experience of working in a role which provides administrative and diary support for professionals would be desirable.
