Our client, a leading crop production and grain marketing company in the UK, is seeking a highly skilled Crop Production Technical Advisor to provide expert technical support and advice to their regional commercial teams across all combinable crops.

Position Overview

The Crop Production Technical Advisor will play a crucial role in delivering technical expertise and strategic guidance to support the company's commercial teams, ensuring the successful implementation of crop growing protocols and sustainable crop production practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide regular in-season technical bulletins for combinable crops

• Deliver technical support to regional commercial teams

• Develop and implement crop growing protocols and strategies

• Collaborate with Sustainable Crop Production teams on environmental requirements

• Produce written content for website, blogs, and publications

• Support the delivery of trial protocols for combinable crops

• Process and summarise data to support technical and commercial strategy

• Ensure technical content is legal and compliant

Requirements

• Proven experience in a technical role within agriculture

• Commercial awareness and excellent communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage varied workloads

• Effective presentation skills for internal and external audiences

• Registered BASIS qualification

• Previous field agronomy and crop nutrition/protection experience (desirable)
