Cyber Security Analyst

Our Edinburgh based client are looking to onboard a Cyber Security Analyst to join their fast paced and rapidly growing business. The role itself will be working with and reporting to the Head of Engineering and Head of Security given the size of the business is under 100 Employees at present. Thus, they are looking for someone with prior experience in Security Operations Centre - SOC. Below is a snapshot of the technical spec with some nice to have's;

Currently in use and candidates should ideally have and understanding on;

• Splunk/SIEM
• Analysis
• Intrusion Detection
• AWS
• Incident Response
• Use Case Creation and Development
• Endpoint Detection & Response (Crowdstrike or Carbon Black)

Below are desirables;

• zScaler
• Entra ID

This role will be mostly remote, however the ask is that for team meetings and events, you could make yourself available to come to the Edinburgh office in Scotland. These are not frequent for reference, a few times per year. All locations in the UK will be considered. In addition to salary, there is a generous Pension scheme in place.
