CyberArk Security Engineer

Job Title: CyberArk Security EngineerContract Duration: 3-6 MonthsLocation: RemoteDay Rate: £350-£500 per day

The Role:We are seeking a skilled CyberArk Security Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and managing CyberArk solutions to secure privileged accounts and credentials across our organization. Your primary responsibility will be to protect our digital assets by enforcing best practices in privileged access management (PAM), ensuring that our security operations are both proactive and effective.

Key Responsibilities:Privileged Access Management (PAM):

• Implement, configure, and maintain CyberArk solutions to manage and secure privileged accounts.
• Integrate CyberArk with existing security tools and systems to streamline privileged access management.

Incident Response:

• Respond to and manage incidents related to privileged access violations or security breaches.
• Conduct root cause analysis on security incidents and implement measures to prevent recurrence.

Security Operations:

• Monitor and manage privileged access requests and sessions using CyberArk tools.
• Ensure that all privileged accounts are regularly audited and comply with security policies.

Threat Detection and Mitigation:

• Develop and implement security policies, rules, and workflows within CyberArk to enhance threat detection.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with privileged accounts to stay ahead of potential threats.

Reporting and Documentation:

• Maintain detailed records of privileged access events and actions taken.
• Generate regular reports on PAM activities, incidents, and compliance for management.

Training and Awareness:

• Provide training to IT staff and end-users on CyberArk best practices and security protocols.
• Promote a culture of security awareness around the management of privileged accounts across the organization.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Proven experience as a CyberArk Security Engineer, with a strong focus on privileged access management.
• Hands-on experience with CyberArk solutions, including Enterprise Password Vault (EPV), Privileged Session Manager (PSM), and other PAM tools.
• Proficient in configuring, deploying, and managing CyberArk solutions in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of PAM best practices and security policies.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex security issues quickly.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to document and report on security incidents and PAM activities clearly.
• Relevant certifications such as CyberArk Defender, CyberArk Sentry, or CISSP are desirable.
