Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Building Surveyor with expertise in damp and mould assessment and remediation. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting detailed surveys, diagnosing issues, and providing effective solutions to prevent and treat damp and mould in residential and commercial properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive building surveys to identify and diagnose damp and mould issues.
  • Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, recommendations, and cost estimates for remediation.
  • Develop and implement effective treatment plans to address damp and mould problems.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
  • Monitor and inspect ongoing work to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Provide expert advice on building maintenance and preventative measures to avoid future damp and mould issues.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Building Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. (HNC Building Studies etc)
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating damp and mould in buildings.
  • Strong knowledge of building construction, materials, and pathology.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software.
