Job Description

Data Architect

Up to £80,000

Remote (Occasional travel to Manchester)

This company is a global leader in finance and insurance. They are currently undergoing a huge data and digital transformation with AI at the forefront. You will work with a vast range of market leading, global clients who are navigating the generative AI space and taking AI to new heights.

Responsibilities:

Support clients and stakeholders with exceptional communication
Develop and oversee data roadmaps
Manage the architecture and design of transformational data solutions
Implement scalable solutions
Collaborate with teams across the business
Manage and mentor junior members

Requirements:

Solid understanding of Data & AI applications
Experience working in an insurance company
Experience in an architect role
Experience implementing cloud-based AI/ML concepts
AWS, Azure, Snowflake, Google Cloud
Hands on deployment with LLMs
MSc or PhD Degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields.
Tech stack in Python, SQL, Docker, Kubernetes and CKA
Understanding of data science workflows and machine learning frameworks e.g. TensorFlow/PyTorch
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
