Job Description

Role: Data Modeler
Location: Birmingham
Work Model: Hybrid

My finance sector client are looking for a skilled data modeler with a finance background, strong in UML, and passionate about creating scalable, compliant data solutions. As a Data Modeler you will help shape the client's enterprise data architecture and support critical business functions.

In this role you will:

  • Design and maintain conceptual and logical data models for financial services, focusing on compliance and scalability.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure models align with business needs.
  • Utilize UML and SQL to create efficient object and class models for complex data structures.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate models and ensure data quality.

Essential Skills:

  • 10+ years in finance data modelling.
  • Familiar with frameworks like IFW, FS-LDM, BCBS 239.
  • Proficient in UML, Object-Oriented Modeling, SQL, Git, and CI/CD.
  • Knowledge of industry standards in finance and data governance is a plus.
