Job Description

You enjoy dealing with data protection matters and you are looking for a new challenge with a varied range of tasks and creative opportunities. You take responsibility, like to work in a team and convince with an independent and service-oriented way of working.

  • Processing data subject requests and other privacy-related inquiries as well as requests from (investigative) authorities.
  • Reviewing contracts (e.g. data processing agreements) in accordance with data protection law.
  • Continuous improvement of the group-wide data protection management system (DPMS) as part of the integrated management system (IMS), particularly when reviewing, evaluating and further developing the data protection processes as well as the internal regulations and templates concerning data protection.
  • Regularly updating the register of processing activities and the overview of technical and organizational measures (TOM).
  • Conducting data protection impact assessments as well as transfer impact assessments.
  • Advising departments and management on data protection issues, e.g. in connection with marketing measures, employee data protection or the use of external service providers.
  • Designing and implementing training and awareness-raising measures on data protection.
  • Reviewing the data protection conformity of web presences, social media platform presences, etc.
  • Clarifying, investigating and documenting data protection incidents as well as notifying relevant parties or authorities, if necessary.
  • Supervision and support regarding internal and certification-relevant external audits.
  • Completed or nearly completed law degree (Austria).
  • Knowledge regarding the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as well as other relevant (nation-specific) regulations (e.g. Data Protection Act (Datenschutzgesetz - DSG) or Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz - BDSG .
  • Preferably, experience in working with ISO-Standards (ISO 27001, ISO 27701).
  • IT affinity and willingness to expand knowledge in this area.
  • Structured and solution-oriented approach to work.
  • Willingness to take responsibility, initiative and team player.
