As a Data Scientist in our team, you will leverage Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Large Language Models (LLMs) to extract insights and drive business value across various use cases. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing Free-Text Data: Extracting insights from customer interactions, such as call transcripts and support tickets, to uncover the "voice of the customer" and identify pain points, sentiment, and areas for improvement.
  • Enhancing the Claims Journey: Applying NLP techniques to extract relevant information and automate processing.
  • Optimizing Sales and Service: Using LLMs to enhance customer interactions, generate personalized content, and automate routine tasks.
  • You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the organization to understand their needs, translate them into data-driven solutions, and deliver impactful results.

What You Will Need:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in data science and machine learning, with a strong background in NLP (2+ years).
  • Experience in applying NLP techniques such as text classification, sentiment analysis, named entity recognition, and topic modeling to real-world business problems.
  • Experience with Large Language Models, such as BERT, RoBERTa, or GPT, including the ability to fine-tune and deploy them for various use cases.
  • Solid programming skills, particularly in Python, and familiarity with popular data science libraries like NumPy, Pandas, scikit-learn and Tensorflow/PyTorch etc.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and effectively analyse data to draw actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present your findings effectively.

Who You Will Work With:

You will be part of our dynamic Data Science Innovation team, collaborating with colleagues from various departments across the organization. Our team is known for its friendly and collaborative culture, where we encourage open communication, knowledge sharing, and innovative thinking. You will have the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects, learn from experienced data scientists, and make a tangible impact on the business.
