Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Dermatologist to join our medical team in Bermuda. This full-time position requires proficiency in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, as well as the ability to perform in-hospital consultations. The ideal candidate will be board-certified with at least 5 years of professional experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Medical Dermatology: Diagnose and treat a variety of skin conditions including eczema, psoriasis, acne, and skin cancer.
  • Surgical Dermatology: Perform dermatological surgeries such as excisions, biopsies, and Mohs surgery for skin cancer treatment.
  • Cosmetic Dermatology: Provide cosmetic procedures including but not limited to Botox, fillers, laser treatments, and chemical peels.
  • In-Hospital Consultations: Conduct dermatological consultations for inpatients, collaborating with other specialists to provide comprehensive care.
  • Patient Care: Deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring a compassionate and professional approach at all times.
  • Consultations: Conduct thorough consultations to assess patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Follow-up Care: Monitor patient progress post-treatment and provide necessary follow-up care and advice.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Education: Stay current with advancements in dermatology and contribute to patient education and community awareness programs.
Qualifications
  • Board Certification: Must be board certified in Dermatology.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in dermatology, with a proven track record in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology.
  • In-Hospital Experience: Experience with in-hospital dermatological consultations.
  • Licensure: Eligible for medical licensure in Bermuda.
  • Skills: Excellent diagnostic skills, surgical proficiency, and expertise in cosmetic dermatology procedures.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information to patients clearly.
