A large public sector organisation, based in Bournemouth, are looking to recruit an IT Desktop Support Team Lead to help oversee the junior members in the IT team. This is a permanent role, fully on-site based in Bournemouth.
Your new role
As the IT Desktop Support Team Lead, you will be ensuring that the IT support functions professionally and provides quality service that meets the needs of the organisation.
Daily responsibilities would include supporting the overall infrastructure, being the acting lead to the 7 junior members in the team to support existing hardware and software.
Overall, the IT Desktop Support Team Lead position requires an individual with a friendly personality and ability to communicate effectively across teams would be an asset.
What you'll need to succeed
- Support undeployed applications
- Building PC's
- Packaging applications
- Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager
- IT Service Desk experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Resilience
- Ability to prioritise and manage
- Develop, implement, monitor and maintain standards, processes and procedures
